Facilities at Westbury Wildlife Park

We have a choice of facilities suitable for a wide range of leisure and community activities.

Online booking requests will receive a quotation via email or you can call us to discuss your needs. Registered users have access to all their booking information and can easily make repeat bookings and manage their account.

River Room Studio

Capacity: 20 people
Pricing: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

This room is dedicated as our wellbeing space. It is a unique and beautiful studio, situated in nature with the river Trym running right underneath it. We hold regular yoga, Thi Chi and other classes in this room. It is perfect for a wellbeing practitioner providing intimate classes. This room sits 20 people, holds 8 yoga mats plus teacher and 30 people standing. The room dimensions are 4.5m by 10m. There is a plain white wall at the back, perfect for anyone bringing a projector.

There are bolsters, mats, blocks, blankets, chairs and eye pillows in the yoga studio. There is enough equipment for a full yoga class of 9 participants. Use of equipment is included in the hire charge.

We also have an additional kitchen/dining area attached to the studio. There is a basic kitchen for preparing/reheating food, and for hot drinks, as well as a dining area big enough for around 9/10 people. This area could also be used for crafts or journaling sessions. Use of this space will be the same cost to hire as the studio.

Please be aware that the river room is not available for children’s parties, it is for well-being activities only. If you would like to host a children’s party you could hire one of our outdoor areas.

Riverside

Capacity: 30 people
Pricing: £10.00 per hour

On the other side of the river from the cafe we have a lovely little area that is set aside for educational use only (educational workshops/groups) It has a firepit which you are weclome to use, with seating, and undercover area. Please bring your own fire wood.

It is located on the other side of the river from the Cafe. As you walk the loop around the park, passed the woodland area, it is opposite the wildflower meadow.

Activity Hub

Capacity: 30 people
Pricing: £15.00 per hour

This space is dedicated to outdoor learning and play. If you are a community or educational group then this outdoor space in the middle of the park could be the perfect place to hold your event. The undercover area seats 20 people or 6 lots of 4 seater tables. Now including small fire pit area with seating (please bring your own fire wood) and undercover area for food prep.

This space is available for children’s outdoor parties, and is the perfect base for outdoor parties if the weather is bad. An ideal space, sat in natural surroundings and great for a small conference or talk.

It is located on the same side of the river as the cafe. A little walk up from the lawns at the entrance and before the woodland.
